David Greenwood
PR Firm Boston
Aside from running his own Boston area PR firm, much of David's vast experience comes from serving as director of communications for Special Olympics Massachusetts. In his first year, David was directly responsible for over 60 television news spots for Special Olympics Massachusetts. He has booked interviews on most major market radio stations in the state and has placed countless articles and photos in print media. David has a proven track record of building and maintaining awareness, and creating powerful messaging that reinforces a strong image. David has been in front of more TV cameras and microphones than most communications professionals see in an entire career.

David brings to the table valuable experience in several areas. He has launched and managed several high-profile projects including those with the Boston Celtics, Blue Man Group, Boston Breakers/WUSA and has toured the country with Olympic gymnasts from the 2000 Sydney Olympics, handling press relations for them. He has cultivated numerous key relationships with members of the media and has developed a solid reputation as a respected public relations professional.

David has managed his fair share of crises as well, managing one of the largest charity scams in Massachusetts history.  He knows the formula for managing reputations. Many potentially damaging issues have been carefully managed by David.

What’s more, David spent several years as a newspaper reporter covering community events such as Selectman's meetings, City Council meetings and School Committees in the Massachusetts MetroWest area. David has experience answering the tough questions and asking them as well.

Before entering into the non-profit world, David was the owner of two small businesses. A karate school and a Brigham’s Restaurant franchise in Wellesley, Massachusetts. David, a second degree black belt, went from teaching self-defense to building a very successful food-service business.

David Has worked with clients in many industries including real estate, law, home improvment, start-ups, sports, health & fitness and food and hospitality. Many clients have achieved great results and garnered impressive media attention with David's assistance.

David is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Business Networking International and the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce.
